Refund Policy

Refund, cancellation, and Paddle payment information for Backup Pulse subscriptions.

Effective date: 13 August 2026

This Refund Policy applies to paid Backup Pulse subscriptions. Backup Pulse is operated by Levent Soykan, trading as Backup Pulse.

1. Paddle is the Merchant of Record

Paid Backup Pulse orders are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles transaction processing, applicable taxes, receipts, subscription billing, buyer payment support, and refunds for orders it processes.

2. Refund eligibility

Unless a refund or withdrawal right is required by applicable law, transactions are generally non-refundable. Paddle may approve refunds on a discretionary basis, and mandatory consumer rights always continue to apply.

Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have where a product is not as described, is faulty, is not fit for purpose, or where local law provides a statutory cancellation, withdrawal, or refund right.

3. Subscription cancellation

You may cancel a subscription at any time to prevent future renewal charges. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged for a subsequent renewal. Cancellation by itself does not automatically create a refund entitlement for the current billing period.

4. How to request a refund

For an order processed by Paddle, request a refund or transaction assistance through Paddle Buyer Support. Your Paddle receipt or subscription confirmation may also contain links for managing your subscription.

You may contact support@backuppulse.com or use our contact page if the request relates to a Backup Pulse product or service issue. Where a refund is agreed, it will be processed through Paddle rather than paid directly by Backup Pulse.

5. Approved refunds

Approved refunds are returned by Paddle in accordance with its refund procedures and the applicable payment method. Access associated with a refunded transaction may end when the refund is issued.

6. Mandatory consumer rights

Consumer cancellation and withdrawal rights vary by country. Where applicable law gives you stronger or non-waivable rights, those rights take precedence over this policy. Paddle's current refund policy contains further information about statutory and country-specific rights.

7. Policy changes

We may update this policy as our service, billing arrangements, or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with its effective date.

8. Contact

For Backup Pulse product or account support, contact support@backuppulse.com or use the contact page. For payment, subscription transaction, or refund processing, use Paddle Buyer Support.
